Dr. MUCYO Sylvie
Vice-Chancellor
Dr. Sylvie Mucyo is currently serving as Vice-Chancellor. Dr. Mucyo has served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor at Rwanda Polytechnic, the Deputy Coordinator and student manager of University of Rwanda and Sweden research bilateral cooperation, as a researcher and a lecturer of Environmental Sciences at the University of Rwanda (UR), College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mucyo is an environmental scientist by training. She graduated with a PhD Degree in Applied Environmental Sciences/Solid Waste Management from Abertay University, Dundee, Scotland in 2013; a MSc in Environmental Biotechnology from the same University in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree of Biology from the former National University of Rwanda in 2007. Dr. Sylvie Mucyo is an expert in Solid Waste Management/Biowaste management and has more than 10 year’s experience in academic leadership.
