Empowering TVET through RP x GIZ
In collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Rwanda Polytechnic has officially launched an Advanced Manufacturing Lab aimed at equipping students with cutting-edge engineering and technical skills. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide hands-on experience with modern manufacturing technologies, fostering innovation and preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the industrial and engineering sectors both locally and internationally.
RP x KOICA: Building the Future
Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) has established a strong partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to enhance technical and vocational education and training (TVET) across the country. Through this collaboration, KOICA has supported the upgrading of facilities, provision of modern equipment, and capacity building for instructors in RP institutions. Notably, KOICA has played a key role in developing advanced training centers in fields such as automotive engineering, ICT, and renewable energy. This partnership aims to align Rwanda’s workforce development with global industry standards, equipping young professionals with practical skills that meet the needs of a modern, innovation-driven economy.
