Accomodation Facilities in RP
Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) has 8 colleges, providing both academic and residential facilities for students. Accommodation options vary depending on the college and location. Here are some key points regarding student accommodation at Rwanda Polytechnic.
On-College Accomodation
Some RP Colleges, especially the larger ones like RP Kigali College, provide on-campus dormitories. On-campus accommodation is often limited and may prioritize first-year students or those in special programs. These facilities are generally affordable compared to private housing but can fill up quickly.
Off-College Accomodation
Students who don’t secure on-college accommodation often rent rooms or apartments in nearby areas. Rental prices vary depending on the college location, with Kigali generally being more expensive than others. Many students use college accommodation to reduce costs and time.
