Call for Applications to Rwanda Polytechnic
Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the academic year 2025-2026. Applications are open to government-sponsored, self-sponsored (private), and foreign applicants who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Advanced Diploma at one of RP's colleges.
Application Requirements
All interested candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission:
- Completion of Education: Have a Senior 6/Level 5 certificate or results slip. For international applicants, an equivalence certificate from the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) is required.
- Academic Performance: Candidates who completed secondary education before 2024 must have at least two principal passes in relevant subjects. Admissions are based on academic performance, and the admission board may conduct an entry exam if deemed necessary.
- Identification: A copy of a national ID for Rwandan citizens or a valid passport for foreign applicants is mandatory. The name on the certificate must match the name on the identification document.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of 5,000 RWF is required.
- Language Proficiency: Foreign candidates whose background studies were not in English must provide proof of English proficiency.
- Email and Password: Applicants must have a valid email address and password for the online application process.

- Civil Engineering: Geomatics, Highway Technology, Water and Sanitation Technology
- Creative Arts: Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Animation
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication
- Information and Communication Technology: Information Technology, E-commerce, Visual Communication
- Mechanical Engineering: Automobile Technology, Renewable Energy Technology, Manufacturing Technology
- Mining Engineering: Mining Technology
- Hospitality Management: Culinary Arts, Room Division
- Agricultural Engineering: Crop Production, Food Processing, Agricultural Mechanization
- Transport and Logistics: Logistics and Supply Chain Management

How to Apply
The application process is done online in three simple steps:
- Account Creation: Create an account on the RP MIS portal.
- Application Submission: Fill out your biographical information and select your preferred program choices.
- Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee to complete and validate your application.
